Founded in 1989, Pandemonium has been a Cambridge institution for almost two decades. Since opening, Boston's premier source of science fiction, fantasy, and supernatural has attracted a wide and eclectic mix of customers. Beyond books, the store also offers a wide range of miniatures, board games, RPGs, and collectible card games.

In 2006, Pandemonium moved from Harvard Square to its current location in Central Square, greatly expanding its retail area in the process. The store's grand re-opening saw the introduction of a dedicated events space, an addition that proved an almost immediate success. Today, Pandemonium offers a schedule of events as diverse as its customer base.

Ok, so earlier I noticed that there was a rather magic user-y looking kitty on I Can Has Cheezburger?, and I sent a link to a few of my friends, including Tyler. He sent it back to me with the amended comment below, and it amused me too damn much not to modify the lolcat. Obviously, someone left the bathroom door open.

I won't be at Pandemonium 5/14 for D&D minis  05/08/2008 02:01 PM
Hi Everyone,

We are still aiming for the tournament on 5/21, but I am not able to get to the store next Wednesday.

figures up for grabs  05/08/2008 06:49 AM
I know there used to be an open fig gaming night, I want to say it was every other or every third Monday or something like that. Is that still going on?
If so, I was wondering if it would be OK for me to swing by with a bin of figs I have been toteing around for years and would like to find new homes for. If memory serves me, there is a Bloodbowl team, some random D&D figs, and several large dragon statues. Some are partially painted, some primed, some blank, and all at least 6+ years old, so nothing new. All are opened so I figured they would not be eligible for sale in the store. I wanted to see if it was OK to bring the bin by during the fig night and see if anyone might be interested in them for a few bucks or trade in something. If the store deems it not OK to bring them in, anyone interested please feel free to contact me off-list and we can arrange something.
Thanks for your time!
