25 Years Since the Fall of Warcul

25 Years Since the Fall of Warcul

Hey this is the offical planning thread for the game set 25 years after the fall of Warcul!
Same world, you old characters will be present in the World at large. Hallow has taken a new name and is now a champion of the Star Eyed Goddess, he gave up his mount to reunited Vahn and Dann together and through a blessing of the Star Eyed Goddess Vahn was able to say good bye to his family finally. Now they work together outside of Ash's Tyr rebuilding the destruction caused by their wicked ways and making the world a better place. Harley went to the other side of the world and found her Prince, now she is a venerated Queen in her own right. No one has heard from Kinsi or Val since the battle.
The world has again become corrupt, a new evil emerges along with an old familiar evil, things are not as they seem. This is the story of a new age of champions.

Please write what you would like to play, as per request from the players who said they wanted to join last Sunday please make a 1st level character and give a bit of back story, more the better as we are our own separate table, in terms of story line. We should have the liberty to develop each character. Also please look at the rules thread where IBE gave instructions on how to make your character. They are now in effect, also please think of a profession(you had a normal life before you took up adventuring in most cases)

My name is Bill.

I will be playing the character of Berne Brauer the fighting tower from the wild lands. Berne worked hard in his family's brewery with hopes of one day inheriting the brewery from his father. Berne's father was somewhat of a brewing legend in the wild lands until an orcish raid happen to run through. Berne managed to take down a few of the orcs as the war party moved on to their next victims. With his family's brewery in flames, Berne moved on to find a new life. Berne found a ship captain in need of strong men to haul cargo to another continent. Upon landing on the the new continent, Berne was immediately targeted by every shrewd salesman and hungry street urchin. With no coin for trade, Berne offered his strength and skill with an axe to the traveling sales folk. Bodyguard duty paid well, but the salesmen still stiffed Berne with his pay. When escorting a trader to Ja'laan, Berne found himself being sold to an underground fight promoter. This is where Berne currently resides. As far as Berne knows, he's making money for every fight he wins. It would be a shame if someone were to tell him otherwise.......

Hey, Brendan here.

I'll be playing Elzer Versing, a mysterious bespectacled tiefling alchemist who is not quite all there. As a young man, Elzer was chased from his home by his superstitious father when his tainted blood surfaced. Despite being such a small and weak person, Elzer managed to get by on the streets of Ja'laan. It was there that he learned his craft from an old blind alchemist who could not see him for what he really was, but once his mentor died, he was left with nothing but his newfound knowledge. With a scarce hope, Elzer believed that perhaps he could be accepted through his usefulness to society.

Then one of the routine beatings he received from the local youth for his appearance went too far. Elzer was brought to death's door... but that was how he met her.

Flash forward seven years, and no sign of the weak-bodied Elzer remains; he is bigger, taller, stronger, and faster... so much so that it could only be through unnatural means. But inside this healthy shell is a broken man: his love is dead, he is on the run from both the law and those who break the law, he his addicted to his own mutagen, and his mind has begun to deteriorate from the compounded stresses in his life. But whatever mistakes Elzer has been driven to, they have always been for the best and for good reason. He had no better options given the circumstances... or at least that is what Elzer must tell himself to save the last scraps of his sanity.

He is on the run from the past seven years of his life... he is on the run from Krakenscar.

(I am preparing several characters to choose from depending on our party makeup.... that and I'm really indecisive.)

My name is Gayle, and still working on my character, but so far she is a Gnome Druid named Willow Summers. Is there a game this weekend, or does this start next weekend?

i'm miguel i am bringing
Gabriel De Filius cleric age 30

his mother was a half celestian that was a cleric for Iomedae. when warcull attacked 25 years ago she was first to fight back at her temple and defeated a high ranking demon by herself. When the battle was done she placed her hand on Gabriel's head showing she was going to leave. As the clerics return from battle they hand little Gabriel a holy symbol of his mother. He has a vow to become a guardian like his mother was and stop all evil outsiders and bring justice to them by his holy right and bloodline. While being a member of the church of Iomedae he has learned how to combat against the undead as well.

i can also make a couple other characters off the whim if i need
