We carry many popular games including Magic: the Gathering, Warhammer 40,000 & Fantasy, Yu-Gi-Oh!, Monsterpocalypse, Dungeons & Dragons role playing & miniatures, as well as a variety of non collectible card games, specialty board games and other role playing games.
Pandemonium is also a center for special events including author signings and gaming events. We are a registered tournament organizer with Wizards of the Coast, Privateer Press, Konami Digital Entertainment and Fantasy Flight Games. We host author signings for local authors as well as any author on tour on the east coast that stops by. We have event space that seats 50 players at a time. Hello gamers! I hope you're all winding down after the exciting weekend of rain and wind! We have a hurricane (hah hah) of events to announce for September, so without further ado...
Naruto Chunin Event: Saturday, Sept 11th
This is a constructed event following the current format. The entry fee will be $5. Prizes are listed on the main page of the Naruto CCG website, and store credit will be given to the Top 4 players in addition to normal prize. Registration begins at 12:20 PM, event begins at 2 PM. Bring your best deck!
Triple Tournament of Terror: Sunday, Sept 19th
Pandemonium will be hostin a tournament for three of our most popular board games: Munchkin, Dominion, and Thunderstone! The Munchkin event will begin at 1 PM, the Dominion event at 2 PM, and the Thunderstone event at 3 PM. Prizes based on attendance. See you there!
Scars of Mirrodin Prerelease Parties: Sept 25th and 26th
Pandemonium will be hosting two sealed deck prerelease events for Magic 2011! One will be held at 12:01 AM on Saturday, Sept 25th and the second will be at 1:00 PM on Sunday, Sept 26th. The entry fee will be $25 and players will receive six packs to build their decks with. Promotional cards may also be available while supplies last. While we are unfortunately limited to only two sealed events by Wizards of the Coast, we will run side drafts throughout Saturday!
Pandemonium will also host a Mutant Intro Draft on Saturday at 6:30 PM for those involved in Open Dueling! This is a fun and original way to get more use out of your Scars of Mirrodin intro pack.The cost will be $10 plus the price of Open Dueling entry. Once you've opened the preconstructed deck (and played it in Open Dueling as much as you like) you'll draft the Scars pack that comes with it, plus a pack of M11 and a pack of Rise of the Eldrazi (the costs of which are included in the entry fee). You'll then use the cards you draft to improve the preconstructed deck, resulting in a 60-card-minimum deck of awesomeness. Because this format is unusual it will not be DCI sanctioned. Prizes will be in store credit or older packs, not Scars packs, as this is our own format and not an official prerelease event.
As a reminder, we are switching the order in which we run events during FNM. Registration will begin at 6 PM as usual, but Standard now begins at 6:30 and the Booster Draft begins at 7:00 PM. See you there!

TCG Player Championship Series Qualifier (Sept 4th, 1:00PM)
This is a Standard tournament being run at Pandemonium by Rob Dougherty. Entry fee is $25, first place prize is $300. Registration starts at noon and the event begins at 1 PM.

Strange Horizons (Sept 18th, 2-3:30PM)
Celebrate the tenth anniversary of the online speculative fiction

read from works of theirs that have been published by the magazine.

Mary Alexandra Agner writes of dead women, telescopes, and secrets.
She was born in a United State made for lovers and currently lives outside Boston. Her family tree bears Parson Brown oranges. Her advanced degrees include Earth and planetary science, and creative writing; she's blessed to have a paying job that utilizes both of them. All her life she's observed the universe and written about it.

Angela Ambroz is totally into post-colonial, edgy science fiction that mixes languages, religions and fashions, and uses a lot of bad words. She is also into: ukeleles, food, financial markets, feminism, Hindi, her new sneakers, US history, and sticking it to the man. Saul Tigh is her BFF (in her dreams!). She is also an economist by day, and a First Reader for Strange Horizons by evening/breakfast.
Francesca Forrest lives in the borderlands between here and elsewhere and records her observations in both prose and poetry. She married an adventurer and has had children on three continents. Theodora Goss is a Hungarian American writer of fantasy short stories. Her stories have been nominated for major awards: "Pip and the Fairies" for the Nebula Award in 2007, and "The Wings of Meister Wilhelm" was nominated for the 2005 World Fantasy Award for Best Short Fiction. She is currently pursuing her Ph.D. in English while also teaching full-time at Boston University. She resides in Boston with her husband, Kendrick, and daughter, Ophelia.
Elizabeth Lee has a dangerous addiction to catalogs—intervention may be required. She lives outside of New York City, collaging words together at a snail’s pace. Her poems have appeared in The Harrow, Illumen, and Aoife’s Kiss. Forthcoming work will appear this Fall in Paper Crow and Goblin Fruit.
Jennifer Pelland is a Waltham-based writer of dark science fiction and fantasy. Her work has been nominated for the Nebula and Gaylactic Spectrum awards. In her spare time, when not writing (or procrastinating on her writing), she does voice work in The Fantastic Fate of Frederick Farnsworth the Fifth, a local radio play. Margaret Ronald lives outside Boston, works in the city, and has neither free time nor bookshelf space. Originally from small-town Indiana, she moved east to attend college and then, due to a combination of inertia and curiosity, moved to Boston. Since then, she’s worked as a Harvard secretary, as a layout tech for several weekly newspapers, and now for a Large Faceless Financial Entity. In 2004 she attended the Viable Paradise workshop on Martha’s Vineyard, and in 2005 her first short story, “Christmas Apples” came out in Realms of Fantasy. Since then, her work has appeared in a number of other venues in print and online.
Vandana Singh's recent short fiction includes work in Clockwork Phoenix and Year's Best SF 14, as well as a novella, Distances (Aqueduct Press). Her first short story collection, The Woman Who Thought She Was a Planet and Other Stories, was published in India by Zubaan/Penguin in fall 2008. Sonya Taaffe has a confirmed addiction to myth, folklore, and dead languages. Her works have won the Rhysling Award and been reprinted in The Year's Best Fantasy and Horror. Connie Wilkins (who often uses the pseudonym Sachi Green) is primarily an author of lesbian themed science fiction and fantasy erotica published under the title Wild Flesh. She lives in the 5-college area of western Massachusetts. Her stories have appeared in a publications as varied as two of Bruce Coville's children's books, the anthologies Such a Pretty Face: Tales of Power and Abundance and Embraces: Dark Erotica
